1. Requests and confirmation
Submitting a request does not reserve a date or create a paid subscription. A booking begins only when Grace confirms availability and you accept a written quote setting out the service, location, price, payment arrangements and schedule.
2. Prices and scope
Website prices are indicative starting estimates in ZAR for the stated scope. Home size, condition, access and specialist work may change the quote. The Happy Home includes up to 30 minutes of ironing within its total 5-hour visit; please provide an iron and board. Other packages do not include ironing unless expressly stated. All additional charges and any applicable taxes must be disclosed in the final written total before acceptance. No card payment or debit order is processed here.
3. Monthly plans
Domestic monthly plans include 2, 4 or 8 The Happy Home visits. Commercial plans include 4 or 8 The Workday Lift visits. Visit counts apply per calendar month, at the same property and within the stated scope. Standard products, normal equipment and local travel are included. Additional visits and specialist work outside the package cost extra only when agreed. A five-week month does not add an automatic visit. Plans do not carry a long-term commitment or begin automatically from an enquiry. Payment dates, unused-visit handling and any rollover arrangement must be recorded in the accepted quote.
4. Changes, cancellations and refunds
Give at least 24 hours’ notice of a visit change where possible. Any cancellation charge must be reasonable, lawful and disclosed in the accepted quote; no blanket forfeiture applies under these website terms. Pause or stop the following month’s plan before that month begins. Statutory cooling-off, cancellation, refund and other consumer rights take precedence. If Grace cannot fulfil an agreed service, we will offer a reschedule or refund for the unprovided service as appropriate.
5. Access and preparation
Provide safe access and the water, electricity, products or equipment specified in your quote. Secure pets and valuables and identify delicate or damaged surfaces. Empty appliances and cupboards if interior cleaning is booked. Tell us about hazards or access restrictions before the visit.
6. Limits of the service
High-level work, heavy lifting, hazardous or biological waste, pest treatment, mould remediation, rubble and off-site waste hauling are excluded unless a separate suitable service is expressly agreed. Some stains and existing damage cannot be removed by cleaning. A clean is not a promise of disinfection or sterility.
7. Concerns and responsibility
Report a concern promptly with your reference and a description so it can be assessed against the agreed work. No provision excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Grace’s legal business details and any applicable insurance information should be supplied in the accepted quote.
8. Privacy and applicable law
The privacy notice explains how request details are handled. South African law applies, including applicable rights under consumer and electronic transaction legislation. If a term conflicts with mandatory law, that law takes precedence.
